Charismatic, responsive, creative, and passionate are just a few of the adjectives principals use to describe people who should be running their classrooms, and as a leader you don’t have to agree with everything your employees do, you just have to be happy to have them. While it’s natural to want to hire people who can handle the challenges that come with everyday operations, it’s also important to take the right things into consideration when choosing who will be best suited to take on the role of leader in your future. You’ll find that there are many traits and characteristics that only can be truly expressed through work experience and therefore do not apply when you are looking to hire someone new to the role.
