Classes, chefs and recipes from around the world
This Throwback Thursday, a class of young cooks is heating up their school classrooms with the release of a new cookbook.
The classes, typically from around the globe, all cook the same meals and then whip them up in their homes. All in an effort to contribute their stories to The World’s Best Family Recipes, published by another iconic global consumer brand, Procter & Gamble.
After the schools vote on their favourite recipe, the four finalists from each country are chosen, and one of these dishes is actually produced in different countries. What does this mean? Well, there is a chef from every continent contributing to this cookbook. From Australia and Africa to South America and Europe, they’re all gathering to share stories and make classic dishes they love around the world.
The World’s Best Family Recipes winner will be announced on 4 April at a gala in Chicago, and anyone can find out more about it via the website. Visit the website to see more photos of some of the recipes and finalists, and to read more about their stories.

We’ve yet to find any foods to match those of this international cookbook, but at least we know we could learn from it!
