Recipetips CEO Reflects on Successful Leadership

Recipetips CEO Lucy Reck said that the things that young CEOs worry about most are: “1) Never missing a beat, 2) keeping my customers happy, and 3) getting the most out of my resources.”

Responding to these concerns, the many Boards of Directors with whom Lucy Reck works, intentionally and deliberately encourage their CEOs to spend time nurturing collaborative learning, learning from and collaborating with employees.

“The best leaders are the people that can be listened to and trusted, the people that lead by being transparent and open to the sharing of information and ideas.”

Lucy Reck said that this sort of collaborative learning allows employees to contribute freely and safely, while also enriching the leaders and customers.

Often, failure is the reason for growing as a leader. ‘It’s not so much about learning from your mistakes, but about how you handle the aftermath.’

Lucy Reck, CEO of Recipetips is a part of the Motivational Speaker Profession. Her presentation Driven to Greatness showcases how successful leaders create better working relationships and create work environments that foster collaboration.
