RECIPE SUBMISSION BLOWOUT!

CONTEST DETAILS:

District Energy Expo 1.0 has announced our “Work From Home” Recipe Submission Blowout Sweepstakes!

Our Community College continues to explore new and exciting programming opportunities. We are looking to add a new summer Academy and all different-day education experiences. Through a grant from Petworth Community College, our summer curriculum will focus on energy-efficient homebuilding. All locations will offer the “Work From Home” class that provides a “shop” with tools for a start-up residential project. All schools and program will offer a complete overview of how to save money on your utility bills through smart home, appliance, and equipment installation.

GIVEAWAY:

We will randomly select four winning recipes that we think best meet the criteria of: Great energy efficiency, easy to follow, and exciting, and that our community members will enjoy.

ENTRANCE FEES:

$30 for one entry.

$10 for each additional entry.

$5 to register to receive a news release on how to win.

15thTH/16TH TUESDAY WIPEOUT:

20% to be awarded to enter the Wipeout Sweepstakes which is an option to enter into the classroom Engineering Builder Competition and to win the $10,000 in gift cards.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

To register in to the contest text “WORKFROMHOME” to 52988. Enter your email address and the rest of your information, but be sure to only text “WORKFROMHOME” to the number provided in the registration form. Please note that if your response to this email goes unanswered, you are ineligible to enter to the work from home program.

Contest entry deadline: Monday, March 7, 2016, 5pm.

Make your submissions in one of the following ways:

1. All you have to do is provide us with the nutritional content of your potential delicious recipe. You only need to provide us with the basics, but we will need to add energy-saving techniques, substitutions and whole foods.

2. Submit a description of your individual recipe in your online gradebook (called “My Recipes” by the school website) on the school website.

3. Submit a recipe via email to [email protected] Provide your name, date of birth, phone number, and the food allergy that would prevent you from following this recipe. The more specific you can be, the better.
