Thomson Reuters Embraces Ed-Tech Partnerships to Deliver Healthcare, Engineering, & Education in World-Class Way
MindShift (www.mindshift.com) gets closer to real-world needs and is the go-to provider of U.S. research-based, life science education and transformation initiatives. During our recent expansion last November, we rapidly added a new lifestyle and business course to the MindShift premium education program. Several months later, we have now partnered with The Thomson Reuters Division of Education and Training to provide the School of Business & Economics and other division programs. Thomson Reuters, the renowned information company, is an educational organization that values the classroom experience and wants its division’s programs to reflect the quality and relevance of modern technology-driven learning.
For example, to meet changing societal demands, we have partnered with Thomson Reuters to introduce the Certified Undergraduate Initiative, a Bachelor’s degree designed to meet evolving “business challenges and shifting competencies.” This Executive Master’s Certificate in “Enterprise Management in a Digital Era” is designed to take the traditional baccalaureate-level curriculum online and offer a fast and efficient way to introduce technology-enabled management thinking. This is one of the many existing Thomson Reuters online educational programs provided by their division, which also offers programs in education, training, and global expansion.
To add to the offerings, we have partnered with Thomson Reuters to bring their College Honors program, which historically has been offered to college graduates, into the online world. The comprehensive program has graduated almost 3,500 graduates and includes a comprehensive list of components designed to help prepare students for successful careers in today’s global economy. We are working closely with Thomson Reuters to create an online platform for mid-career professionals to easily access the program, save time, and find students for targeted mentoring. It will also contain expanded content and trackings information for students preparing for Masters and Ph.D. programs.
For those in post-secondary education, we have developed several programs to increase practical skills and learning. Students can design, build, and test new technologies for the drug, biotech, and biomedical industries. We have also created a space for biotech interns at major universities who want to earn industry accreditation and develop professional work skills, including project management, real-world technology, project intelligence, group problem solving, and expert project management. Since 2013, Thomson Reuters has graduated hundreds of interns with Coley STEM5: Center for High-Impact Science, Technology, and the Imagination (COYSTEM) program.
